The All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Test is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. It conducts this test for 15 % of the total intake capacity of state medical and dental colleges in all states except Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. An Indian National can seek admission to a seat in a medical college in any of the states through this test. Independant institutions such as AIIMS conduct their own entrance emaminations.
