Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam
The Combined Graduate Prelim Examination is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for selecting the candidates for the main examinations for the recruitments which are mentioned below.
Successful candidates in the Preliminary Examination will have to apply again with requisite fees in the prescribed application form which will be sent to such qualified candidates by the concerned regional offices of the Commission.
1. Assistants in Ministries/Departments, Attached and Subordinate office of
the Government of India
2. Inspectors of Central Excise & Customs
3. Inspectors of Income Tax
4. Preventive Officers in Customs
5. Examiner in Customs
6. Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police & CBI
7. Sub-Inspectors in BSF, CRPF, ITBP and CISF
8. Divisional Accountant, Jr. Accountant, Auditor & UDCs in various offices of Government of India
Important Dates
The Combined Graduate Preliminary Examinations are generally held in the month of July following a notification in Employment News / Rozgar Samachar and the website of staff selection commission.
