Combined Matric Preliminary Exam

The combined Matric Preliminary Examination is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for selecting candidates for the Main Examinations for the following Recruitments

Clerks' Grade
Grade 'D' Stenographers
Grade 'C' Stenographers

The Recruitment to the above posts will be in the following groups of services/offices

Group `X'
Group 'Y' (for Clerks and Steno `D' only)

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Matric Prelim Examination once a year generally in the month of September for selection of candidates for the Main Examination.

Important Dates

The Staff Selection Commission conducts the Combined Matric Preliminary Examination, generally in the month of September for selection of candidates for the Main Examination.

The last date for submission of applications is usually the last week of May.

The Main Examinations for the above mentioned posts are held at the end of the year.
